You see, the choice to help people isn’t something that should require a whole lot of thought. We all have been helped by someone. My teacher helped me come to terms with the passing of my father, so from there on I felt a duty to be there for others the way she was there for me. To me, kindness isn’t a hard thing to show.

FIDELITY
“The road to greatness is not easy…”
To be great, you must be willing to endure. There will be times where you are tired, where the road you are traveling seems to have no end in sight, and giving up would be the simpler thing to do… but you have to continue. At its core, fidelity is a commitment to the people and ideals you hold dear, and if greatness is something you seek, you must have the fidelity to stay the coarse… even when things are at their darkest moments. I remember quite clearly my father looking at me when I was being so terribly difficult and saying, “Son, what you you want to do with this life?” I didn’t answer then, but I know now.. I wanted to be just like him. Looking back on that, I would not be the man I am today if I had relented on my aspirations to be great… to be like him. We all are nothing without fidelity.

BROTHERHOOD

To have been in Iota as long as I have, to have traveled the globe and to represent Iota in places that are recognized Iota Strongholds and places where we are not as recognized, one thing as always been clear. Iota as a brotherhood sits on a foundation like no other. Sure, when I’ve traveled I’d never had to want for anything, I’ve been treated warmly by brothers everywhere, etc., but what stands out to me as the greatest example of brotherhood is seeing my brothers committed to supporting one another both personally and professionally. From the business of brothers here, brothers’ wives opening their arms to one another, etc., what Iota is as a brotherhood reflects itself in exceptional ways across the globe. It may seem cliché to say, but there’s no fraternity in the world like Iota.
